Georgia Southern hosts the North Florida Ospreys from the ASUN Conference as they return home from a three-match road trip.
UNF and Georgia Southern have faced off 15 times previously, including five straight match ups from 2015 to 2019. The Eagles are 9-5-1 all time against the Ospreys.
The last match up in 2019 was won by the Eagles in Jacksonville, finishing in a 2-1 decision.
The Eagles have won the last four meetings against the Ospreys, scoring two or more goals in each of those contests.
The Eagles own a 3-3-1 overall record against the Ospreys in Statesboro.
Both squads have already had matches with two nationally ranked programs each, with the Ospreys facing No. 13 UCF in Orlando and No. 8 FIU in Jacksonville. The Eagles have competed against #18 Charlotte in Charlotte and No. 4 UNC in Chapel Hill.
This is the first of two matches against Florida teams for the Eagles this season. Both matches occur in Statesboro.
Friday night will be Salute to Service night, honoring healthcare workers, first responders, military, and essential workers.
