McWhorter Named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week

NEW ORLEANS, La. – On Wednesday afternoon the Sun Belt Conference announced that Mason McWhorter was named Player of the Week for the second time this season, after his performance in the Eagles 4-1 week.
McWhorter finished the week going 10-for-21 for a .476 average at the plate. He scored a run in all five games and drove in 10 RBIs, adding two doubles and homering in every game this weekend against Coastal Carolina. The senior had a slugging percentage of 1.000 this week and posted an on base percentage of .538.
