TROY, Ala. – Andrei Savrasov made four 3-pointers and scored a career-high 14 points to go along with six rebounds, two assists and two steals to lead Georgia Southern to a 79-64 Sun Belt men's basketball victory over Troy Saturday afternoon in Trojan Arena.

Savrasov made all five shots he took in the game and led five scorers in double figures in the total team effort.
Cam Bryant made 5 of 7 from the field to score 12 points, and
Eric Boone posted 11 points, four boards and four assists.
Zack Bryant collected 11 points, and
Kamari Brown shot 4 of 5 from the field to score 10. All nine Eagles who played scored as Georgia Southern shot 56 percent in the first half and 50 percent in the game.
Key Moments
Troy (10-10, 4-6) whittled a 21-point second-half deficit down to nine on a Duke Miles layup with 3:41 to play, but Boone fed
Gedi Juozapaitis for dagger 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to push the margin back to 71-56. Boone and
Zack Bryant combined to go 6 for 8 from the free-throw line inside the final 2:20 to seal the win.
Four different Eagles made a 3-pointer in an 18-5 run that turned a two-point cushion into a 35-20 lead with 3:17 left in the first half.
Cam Bryant scored seven straight points during the run, and Savrasov capped it with a triple from the wing. On the defensive end, GS (12-9, 6-6) held Troy to 2 for 8 from the floor and forced four turnovers during the stretch.
GS went on a 10-1 run early in the second half and pushed the margin to 54-33 on a
Grant Weatherford layup with 13:15 to go. Weatherford scored five points during the span, and the Eagles forced four consecutive Trojan misses at the other end.

- The win moves the Eagles one game out of first place in the Sun Belt East Division with six contests remaining on the schedule.
- GS wins the season series against the Trojans 3-1.
- The Eagles made 11 of 19 from long distance for 57.9 percent, their highest percentage of the season.
