Eagles Host Midweek Match Against Toledo

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern women's tennis team takes on Toledo for the first time in history Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. before preparing for conference play this weekend.
Last time out:
The Eagles (8-4) torched through UNC-Wilmington and ABAC this past weekend, winning both matches 7-0 at home. Georgia Southern has now won three of their last four.

About Toledo:
The Rockets (4-6) have had an up-and-down ride in 2020, having only won back to back games once all season. They most recently fell 0-7 at Mercer.
What head coach Sean McCaffrey said:
"We are fired up to have Toledo come to our campus tomorrow. They are a strong team from a good conference (MAC). This is our last non-conference match before Sun Belt play begins. We will look to have a good battle tomorrow and continue our momentum into the weekend."

The Eagles will open conference play against Louisiana and Louisiana-Monroe Saturday and Sunday morning. Both contests are scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
