Cross Country Closes Season

MOBILE-- The Georgia Southern cross country team wrapped up their season Halloween morning with a 10th-place finish with 255 points at the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Cross Country Championships.
Freshman Abbey Arnett led all Eagles with a time of 19:37.3. She was followed by fellow Freshman Hannah Wise, who clocked in at 19:48.6.
XC Coach Wes Penberthy said:
"The goal and message the past couple of weeks has been to come out and compete. We had some season bests today. I'm proud of how the ladies have performed this season. The circumstances haven't been the best and they still came to work every day and put it all out there."
The indoor track & field season schedule will be released soon.
