MACON, Ga. - Georgia Southern men's tennis began their fall 2020 schedule on Friday evening competing in the three day tournament in Macon, Georgia. The Eagles took to the courts to take on UAB and Troy in singles play, while competing against South Alabama in doubles play.
The Eagles took three of the six singles matches they played in, with Valentin Dun, Carter French and Chase Arevalo taking their matches. In doubles play Pascal Wagemaker and Carter French took home a win at No. 1 Doubles, while Carlos Garcia and Jaap Aaldering won their No. 3 Doubles match.
Day two of the Mercer Bears Gridiron Classic begins at 11 a.m. from Macon, Ga.
