MOREHEAD, Ky. - The Georgia Southern rifle squad fell to No. 15 Morehead State Friday at the Button Rifle Range in the first of two matches against the Eagles this weekend. The Frosh Four shot a 2,144 in smallbore and 2,269 in air rifle for a 4,313 aggregate.
In smallbore, Judson led the way with 565, including a 196 in the 20-shot prone which is tied for fifth-best in program history.
Gabby Morrow shot a 540, including a personal-best 192 in prone and personal-best 177 in standing, and
Lillian Herring posted a 524.
Amelia Pierce shot a 515 to round out the team scoring.
In air rifle, Judson led the way with a 584 to place sixth, followed by Morrow with a 567. Herring shot a 566 and Pierce posted a 552.
Judson led the way with a 1,149 aggregate to place eighth. Morrow finished with a 1,107, followed by Herring's 1,090 and Pierce's 1,067.
