The Eagle basketball teams host Georgia State in a doubleheader Saturday Jan. 25 in Hanner Fieldhouse. The women will tip things off at 2 p.m., followed by the men's game at approximately 5 p.m. Below is important information to enhance your gameday experience.
Student Seating
Georgia Southern will not clear the arena prior to the men's game, and student seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. In anticipation of a large demand for student tickets, Georgia Southern Athletics strongly urges students to arrive as early as possible. Students from Georgia Southern and East Georgia who have paid their athletic fee gain free admission with their student ID. All students should enter via the student entrance on the campus side of the building off of Herty Drive. The student entrance opens at 1 p.m., and students will be turned away once the student section is full. The student section is behind the team benches.
Should students have a notion to leave Hanner Fieldhouse, please remember, there is no re-entry. If you arrive during the women's game and want to see the men's game, you MUST stay in the facility.
Non-Student Seating
Due to game times and logistics,
ONLY tickets for the men's game will be valid for either game with the men's expecting to be a sellout. A men's ticket will gain entry into both the men's and women's game. Tickets for the women's game will not be valid, and Georgia Southern will only be selling men's tickets throughout this week leading up to the game
. THERE WILL BE NO TICKETS FOR THE WOMEN'S GAME. IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE WOMEN'S GAME, YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET FOR THE MEN'S GAME.
All seating for both the women's and men's game will be handled like a normal men's basketball game. Reserved tickets will be required and checked to sit in any of the reserved (Courtside, Lower Reserved and Upper Reserved) sections. General Admission seating is located behind the baskets on both ends.
PLEASE NOTE: Once you get your ticket scanned in there is
 NO RE-ENTRY into this event.
If you attend the women's game, you must stay inside the building prior to start of the men's game if you wish to stay. If you leave the facility at any point after you have been scanned in to either game, you will not be able to re-enter without a new ticket.
