Elizabeth Chemey Earns Google Cloud/CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

Junior swimmer named to the At-Large team; will advance to national balloting
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern junior swimmer Elizabeth Chemey has been named to the 2019 Google Cloud/CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large team, announced by the organization last week.
Chemey was named to the District 4 First Team for carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA in international trade. She competed in five events for the Eagles at the 2019 CCSA Championships, setting new personal bests in the 50 and 100 Butterfly. Chemey also swam the 50, 100 and 200 backstroke during the event.
A five-time Dean's List honoree, Chemey was also named as the Swimming & Diving representative on the AD's All-Academic Team during the 2019 GUSPY's award ceremony in May. She is the first All-District At-Large selection from Swimming & Diving since Caroline Bevillard in 2011.
Chemey will now advance to national balloting for possible Academic All-America honors, to be announced on Friday, June 21st.
