Wells Reclaims ASun Diver of the Week Crown

The senior has now won Diver of the Week in back-to-back outings.
Jacksonville, Fla. --- Georgia Southern diving senior Karlee Wells has been named the Atlantic Sun Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
In the final dual meet of her collegiate career against East Carolina, Wells placed second in both the 1 and 3-meter dive. In the 1-meter, she would just scrape under the three century mark, diving a 299.25 to start her day off. Following that, her score of 272.25 in the 3-meter was good for runner-up in the event of eight other divers. While not breaking the record books this week, Wells holds all five of the highest 3-meter scores in program history and four of the five in the 1-meter, cementing herself as one of the best divers in Georgia Southern history.
Wells and the Eagles take the pool for the final time this season for their first ASun Conference meet. The Eagles are heading to fimiliar territory inside of the Rosen Aquatic Center in Orlando, Fla. where they have swam for the Sun Belt crown in years past. The meet is set to commence on Wednesday, February 18th and run through Saturday, the 21st.
