STATESBORO, Ga - The Georgia Southern Women's Tennis team traveled to Atlanta to face off against rival, Georgia State on Thursday. The Eagles dropped the match 2-5 to the Panthers at GSU's Clarkston Campus.
The Eagles fell to the Panthers after giving up the doubles point early in the match. The Blue and White tried to make a come back over Georgia State but were unable to keep the same momentum as the Panthers. Women's Tennis did gain two points by default because of lack of players from Georgia State. The Eagles are back in action on Sunday for a double header against Arkansas State and Coastal Carolina at home. The match against Arkansas State starts at 10 AM, followed by Coastal Carolina at 2 PM.
