Freshman earns seventh straight win in singles
STATESBORO, Ga - The Eagles had a great set of wins today at home in Wallis Tennis Center. Women's Tennis took both matches against Arkansas State and Coastal Georgia at home. The Red Wolves fell to the Eagles, 7-0 early in the day. Coastal Georgia followed behind ASU and lost to the Blue and White, 7-0.
The Eagles started out the day by taking the doubles point from Arkansas State early. The Blue and White had great momentum going into singles and held on to that until the end. The Eagles took every singles match over the Red Wolves, winning 7-0.
Women's Tennis went into their match against Coastal Georgia with a lot of energy. The Eagles clinched the doubles point for the second time and went into singles ahead of CCGA. The Blue and White went on to take every singles match and defeated Coastal Georgia, 7-0.
With the win over ASU, freshman Luisa Hrda earned her seventh straight win in singles. Hrda defeated Shannon O'Brien, 6-4, 7-6, at No. 5 singles. Luisa Hrda moved to 11-2 on the 2019 season.

"We had such a bounce back performance today from everyone on the team. The improvement the team demonstrated from our match on Thursday to today, was pretty significant. As we continue to clean things up I truly believe this team will be very tough to beat down the road"
