Quickly: Georgia Southern welcomes in No. 9-ranked Louisiana for a three-game Sun Belt series beginning Friday at Eagle Field ... Louisiana won two of three from the Eagles in Lafayette last year, but the one win for the Eagles was the first win in 60 tries on the road against a nationally-ranked team. The 3-2 eighth-inning win over the then-No. 22 Ragin' Cajuns snapped an 0-for-59 streak for Georgia Southern ... This is the third straight time the Ragin' Cajuns will visit Eagle Field as a nationally-ranked team. Their first trip in 2016, they were ranked No. 8. In 2017, they were ranked No. 17.
