Baseball Ends Fall Schedule Undeafeated After Pair of Wins over Gordon State

Regular Season Begins Feb. 14 Against Ball State
STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team concluded its fall schedule with a pair of wins against junior college power Gordon State Friday night at J.I. Clements Stadium.
Game one got off to a slow start before Austin Thompson hit a two RBI homerun to left field to spark an eventual 8-1 win.
The Eagles were also victorious in game two 2-1 in a seven-inning contest.
Thompson had a total of four hits, four RBIs and one homerun on the day.
Georgia Southern ends its fall scrimmage schedule undefeated at 4-0 including a pair of wins over the College of Charleston earlier in Oct.
The team will begin the regular season with a four-game series against Ball State beginning on Feb. 14, 2020.
