STATESBORO, Ga. –The Georgia Southern women's soccer team lost 0-3 to South Alabama on Friday night at Eagle Field.
All of South Alabama's goals were scored in the first half with two of them coming in the first three minutes of play. Morgan Cross scored the first two goals in 3:10 and Briana Morris scored the third just shy of the 30 minutes mark.
Georgia Southern took two shots during the game – one by
Vala Kristin Theodorsdottir and one by
Kristin Sandifer.
Lauren Karinshak was in goal for the Eagles for the entire game coming away with one save.
