STATESBORO, Ga. – Day two of the 2018 Sun Belt Outdoor Conference Championships concluded Saturday evening with the Eagles still looking to secure their first point in the final day of competition. Sunday's events will begin at 11:00 AM EST and continue throughout the day with the 4 x 400 Meter Relay's concluding the evening at 8:00 PM.

The Eagles began the day with the Long Jump event with
Eugenia Tan and
Detrich Lodge competing for the Blue and White. Lodge would claim a top-20 finish in the Long Jump with a 5.35 meter attempt, while
Eugenia Tan finished just outside of the points list with a 5.60 meter attempt. With the field events continuing throughout the afternoon,
Jamelia Owens and
Alexis Gant competed in the Discus Finals. Gant posted a 36.80 meter attempt, while
Jamelia Owens posted a 42.26 meter attempt. In the 800 meter event
Sholonda Snell (2:11.12) and
Ellunde Montgomery (2:13.84) were able to qualify for the finals tomorrow at 6:25 PM.

The final day of the 2018 Sun Belt Outdoor Conference Championships will begin at 11:00 AM EST and continue throughout the day from San Marcos, Texas. Sunday events will include: Shot Put, Triple Jump, 4 x 100 Meter Relay, 1500 Meters, 100 Meter Hurdles, 400 Meters, 100 Meters, 800 Meters, 400 Meters Hurdles, 200 Meters, 5000 Meters, and the 4 x 400 Meter Relay.
