Fourteen Student-Athletes Receive Stoles Prior to Graduation Ceremony

Student-athletes from six teams receive stoles Thursday

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Athletics honored 14 graduating student-athletes with a special stole ceremony Thursday afternoon in the Ted Smith Family Football Center.
The Athletic Department handed out stoles that will be used to signify student-athletes at Friday's Georgia Southern University commencement ceremony at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. Six of the student-athletes also received rings signifying that they will be graduating with at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA). Those five are CJ Brazil (baseball), Ryan Cleveland (baseball), Christian Kerrigan (men's tennis), Chris Washington (football), Ashton Lord (women's track & field), and Nicole Naclerio (women's soccer).
