STATESBORO, GA. – With three rounds of Sun Belt play in the books, Georgia Southern will travel to Midtown Atlanta for a midweek tilt at Georgia Tech. The Eagles dropped a 6-5 result to the Yellow Jackets back in February in a game that lasted 16 innings. The Eagles will look for revenge on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.

QUICK HITS- Georgia Southern will look to avenge its 16-inning, 6-5 loss to Georgia Tech on Wednesday evening in Midtown Atlanta. The Eagles have dropped four-straight games to the Yellow Jackets and trail in the all-time series 97-31.
- Georgia Southern is ranked in a three-way tie for second in the Sun Belt standings after three rounds of league play at 6-3. The Eagles are tied with Texas State (6-3) and UL Lafayette (6-3), but trail South Alabama (9-0).

Evan Challenger.
C.J. Brazil led the offense with three hits.
- On Saturday evening the Eagles scored four runs in the seventh to tie the game at 5-5, but a run in the ninth gave Arkansas State the 7-6 win.
- In the series finale, Georgia Southern tallied 13 hits and stranded 12 runners aboard. The Eagles got 20-straight outs from
Brian Eichhorn after he gave up three runs in the first inning.
