STATESBORO, GA.
– Georgia Southern Baseball continues its 10-game homestand on Tuesday night as the College of Charleston comes to Statesboro for a midweek game. First pitch on Tuesday night is set for 6 p.m. with the game available live on ESPN3. Right-handed pitcher Landon Hughes will make his second-straight midweek start for the Eagles. He is opposed by lefty Evan Sisk for the Cougars.

- Former SoCon members Georgia Southern and College of Charleston reprise their rivalry on Tuesday night in a midweek contest.
- Georgia Southern trails 31-28 in the all-time series, but leads 12-11 in Statesboro at J.I. Clements Stadium.
- Ryan Cleveland, Will Hudgins and Cal Baker are the only returning Eagles that got a hit last season. Cleveland lashed a single and scored a run while going 1-for-6. Baker started just one of the games and went 1-for-2 while Hudgins was 1-for-4, coming off the bench in both games.
- C.J. Brazil carried the torch for the Eagles this weekend with a 4-for-11 week and four runs scored. He was also hit by three pitches and stole a base in the series finale on Sunday.
- In Georgia Southern's five nine-inning regulation games, the Eagles have averaged a duration of 2:26 with just one game going more than two and a half hours. That game was the Sunday finale vs. Radford.

COMING UP NEXT
The Eagles are home this weekend as Memphis comes to town for a non-conference series at J.I. Clements Stadium. The opening games of the series are set for 7 p.m. each night with the Sunday finale starting at 1 p.m.
