STATESBORO – Tuesday's softball game between Georgia Southern and Kennesaw State has been rescheduled due to the strong possibility of thunderstorms moving through the area Tuesday afternoon. The two programs will instead play the single game on Wednesday, Apr. 13 at 5 p.m.
 
Georgia Southern will now turn its attention to the Coastal Carolina Invitational this weekend in Conway, S.C. The Eagles open the tournament with an 11 a.m. doubleheader against Iowa on Friday, Feb. 26. Georgia Southern will then take on host Coastal Carolina in a 1:30 p.m. game on Saturday followed by a 4 p.m. game against the Hawkeyes. The Eagles will close the weekend with a 12 p.m. game against the Chanticleers on Sunday, Feb. 28.
