Freshman from Ijamsville, Maryland sets personal best scores at West Florida

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Georgia Southern freshman diver Gretchen Mossburg was named Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Diver of the Week on Tuesday after posting personal best scores last weekend.

Mossburg placed second in the 1-meter and third in the 3-meter against West Florida. She scored 258.15 points in the 1-meter dive and 246.23 in the 3-meter.

The Eagles travel to the Georgia Tech Invitational this week for the banner meet of the fall season. The three-day meet features some of the nation's top teams and begins on Thursday, November 17.
