STATESBORO, Ga. – Due to the possibility of impending inclement weather as a result of Hurricane Matthew, the Georgia Southern volleyball matches scheduled for Friday and Saturday have been postponed and the fall softball game scheduled for Saturday has been canceled.

The contests have been canceled in order to preserve the safety of all student-athletes, game officials, game workers and fans. 

The volleyball matches against Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina are slated to be made up at a later date. The softball game against Georgia Tech will not be made up.
