NO PLACE LIKE HOME
• The Eagles are wrapping up a four-game Sun Belt Conference homestand before hitting the road for their final long road trek.
• The Eagles have one more long homestand coming in February when they host the schools from Arkansas as well as Appalachian State and rival Georgia State.
• So far this season the Eagles are 3-4 at home with wins over Jacksonville State, Charleston Southern and South Alabama.

QUICK HITTERS
• Georgia Southern entered this week in a three-way tie for eighth in the Sun Belt Conference standings, but is now currently in a tie with South Alabama for ninth. The Eagles are 1-4 in league action and the top eight in the standings will advance to the Sun Belt Conference Championships held in New Orleans March 9 through March 12.
• Statistically speaking, GSU entered the week third in the Sun Belt in free throw percentage (.709) and three-point field goals made (6.5/game), fourth in defensive rebounds (25.2/game) and fifth in field goal percentage defense (.388), three-point field goal percentage defense (.304) and sixth in rebounding defense (38.6).
• Juniors Angel McGowan and Patrice Butler are both currently in the top-15 in the conference in scoring. McGowan enters the week averaging 15.3 points per outing, good enough for sixth in the league while Butler is tied for 12th with 12.4 points per outing.
• McGowan is fifth in steals (2.3/game) and three-point field goals made (1.9/game) and she also is 12th in both field goal percentage (.461) and three-point field goal percentage (.348) while Alexis Sams leads the conference with an average of 35.8 minutes per contest and is tied for 11th in assists with 2.5 per game. P. Butler is seventh in free throw percentage (.771)
• Senior Briana Jones is currently six points away from 500 career points. For her career, she averages 7.2 points per game and has 25 points so far this season.
• In last Thursday's win over South Alabama, McGowan recorded seven steals which was not just a career-high for the Greenville, S.C. native, it also matched the fifth-most steals in a single game by an Eagle player. Her 119 career steals has her just 15 shy of 20th all-time in program history.

NATIONAL EXPOSURE
• By the end of the season, the Eagles will have played 10 games on the ESPN family of Networks.
• Eight Sun Belt Conference contests, including the next three, will be broadcasted live on ESPN3 beginning with the Eagles' home contests against UL Lafayette and UL Monroe.

THE HISTORY WITH UL MONROE
• Last season's pair of games was the first time UL Monroe and Georgia Southern had ever tangled on the hardwood in women's basketball with the Warhawks claiming both games.

SCOUTING THE WARHAWKS

• In the last four conference games, ULM has fallen 57-54 at home to Appalachian State, 66-43 at Arkansas State, 56-44 at UA-Little Rock and 65-52 at Georgia State.
• In the second game of the season, the Warhawks went on the road and took LSU to overtime, ultimately falling 61-54. They also lost 80-42 at TCU and have played just three games outside of the state of Louisiana.
• As a team, ULM entered the wee averaging 61.0 points per outing and shoots 40.2% from the field while opponents are scoring 59.5 points per outing and shooting 37.5%. The 'Hawks out-rebound their opposition 38.5-33.9 and shoot close to 70% (69.8%) from the free throw line.
