NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Scott Wolfes shot a 2-over-par 73 to tie for 21st, and Georgia Southern placed ninth at the Mason Rudolph Championship Sunday at Vanderbilt Legends Golf Course.
The Eagles (+34) finished two strokes behind Liberty (+32) and three shots back of SMU (+31). Host Vanderbilt (-6) won the tournament and was the only team to finish under par. Georgia Tech (+5) and Alabama (+5) tied for second.
The tournament featured eight teams ranked in the top-50 in the country and 15 individuals ranked in the top-100, according to GolfStat.
The 465-yard, par-4 10th hole, which played as the toughest on the course this week, did in the Eagles. The Georgia Southern quintet was +18 on the hole in the three rounds.
