Aaron Mizell helped the Georgia Southern Eagles sweep the UALR Trojans on the road after going 7 for 14 with four doubles and two home runs. Mizell hit a triple slash line of .500/.533/1.214 in three starts in right field. The senior outfielder scored four runs and drove in five more. Mizell tallied multiple hits in all three games of the series and posted an extra-base hit in each of the three contests. Mizell opened the series with a two for four performance in the series opener and hit a double and a home run. Mizell drove in two runs with a pair of hits and a double in game two before doubling twice and hitting his 12th long ball of the season in game three. The senior scored two runs, plated two more and tallied three hits in the series finale.

Connor Simmons helped the Georgia Southern Eagles cap off a three-game series sweep of the UALR Trojans with a gem in a 10-3 win on Sunday. Simmons allowed one run on five hits and struck out six batters to pick up his second victory of the season. The freshman lefthander went six innings for the first time since March 8 against Appalachian State. Simmons retired six of the first seven batters he faced and stranded base runners over four-straight innings. The freshman retired the side in order in his final inning of work. He also set down the side in order in the bottom of the first inning after being staked to an early lead in the top half of that frame.
