STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Athletic Marketing announced the remaining promotions for the 2015 baseball season.
On April 21 when the Eagles take on the College of Charleston at J.I. Clements Stadium it will be Weekday Work Perk. During this promotion fans can bring their business card to the ballpark for a $5.00 general admission ticket.
For the series opener against the ULM Warhawks the first 500 fans will receive free Verizon Sunglasses.
Saturday's game against ULM will be Local Heroes Day. All police officers, firefighters, EMS, and first responders will receive free general admission with ID. Family members attending the game with them will get a discounted $5.00 general admission tickets.
The series finale on Sunday will be Junior Eagle Club Sunday Funday. Junior Eagle Club members receive free admission with card, access to the bounce houses from Crazy Nick's Inflatables and free popcorn from the concession stand. Kids can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).
For the South Alabama series, the first promotion will be Military Appreciation Night, which includes free general admission for active and veteran military personnel with ID. Family members can get discounted $5.00 general admission tickets.
On May 2 it will be Baseball Jersey Day and Let's Play Catch Saturday. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Georgia Southern Baseball or MLB jersey jersey or t-shirt. Those who do will receive a free pair of sunglasses.
In the series finale, the promotions will be senior day and Junior Eagle Club Sunday Funday.
When the Eagles take on Kennesaw State on May 12 the promotions will be Education Night and Weekday Work Perk. All GSU faculty/staff and Bulloch County Teachers, staff, and students can purchase $5.00 general admission tickets.
