STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Athletics Marketing is letting kids take over J.I. Clements Stadium during three games this baseball season. Kids can help and learn some of the behind-the-scenes action that takes place at every baseball game.
Many activities that the kids can participate include view the game operations booth and make public address announcements, be the boss and help with on-field promotions, and be the mic man to get our fans pumped up and engaged. Other activities include throwing out t-shirts, taking tickets at the gate, and join the Eagle Event team in handing out special giveaways and roster cards.
This special opportunity is FREE but limited to 5 kids per game on a first come, first served basis via online registration. Rules that apply include kids must be ages 6-12, families may register only one child per baseball game, and kids can only participate in one baseball game.
Games that will be available to participate include Friday, April 24th at 6:00 PM, Saturday, April 25th at 2:00 PM, and Saturday, May 2nd at 2:00 PM. Each kid will be provided a free meal at the game.
