The Eagles travel to Georgia State for the season finale Saturday at noon.

It's the second of two meetings against Georgia State this season. The Panthers won the first game 82-54 in Hanner Fieldhouse Feb. 5.

The Eagles have lost their last 15 and are coming off a 66-41 defeat to UT Arlington at home Thursday.

Six of the Eagles' last 15 games have been one-possession contests at the under-4 media timeout, and two have gone into overtime.

Georgia Southern is 1-11 on the road and 1-8 in road league games.

Georgia State is 5-3 in its last eight, a stretch which started with the win in Hanner. The Panthers clinched a Sun Belt Tournament spot with a 66-61 win at ULM Thursday night.

Georgia State is 8-8 at home and 4-5 in home league tilts.

Makeba Ponder, also a SBC Freshman of the Year candidate, leads the Panthers with 12 points a game.
