Eagles Post Five Top-10 Finishes at UNF Spring Break Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Georgia Southern Track and Field team tallied five top-10 finishes over two days at the UNF Spring Break Invitational at Hodges Stadium.
Kenyanna Harris and Ashleigh Rasheed both posted second place finishes. Harris nearly tied her career best and placed second in the high jump with a jump of 1.68m.
Rasheed placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 11.93m. Rasheed also competed in the long jump (5.30m) and finished 12th.
Rebecca Parker improved on her time from the outdoor season opener and finished fourth in the steeplechase with a time of 12:07.76.
Kelsey Arnold placed sixth in the hammer toss (47.20m) to lead Georgia Southern in the throws. She also placed 21st in the discus throw with a distance of 33.73m.
Asha Stegall rounded out the top-10 performances for the Eagles with a time of 56.48 in the 400m dash.
Jordan Fordham also competed in the 100m dash (12.21) and 200m dash (25.14).
Track and Field returns to action April 3-4 at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla.
