Chase Griffin went 7 for 19 with four RBI over five games last week. Griffin bounced back from an 0-for-4 game against The Citadel and plated a run on two hits at North Florida on Wednesday. Griffin also tripled and walked in the one-run loss. He tallied a hit in all three games of the series against #18 Georgia. The senior catcher put the Eagles on the scoreboard with a RBI single in the first inning of the series opener. Griffin also drove in the game tying and go-ahead runs in the seventh inning of game three. He finished with two hits, a double and two RBI.

Jason Richman struck out 14 batters over 9.1 innings and beat #18 Georgia twice to extend his streak to 19 innings without an earned run. Richman held opponents to three hits and one unearned run over his three appearances on the week. The junior lefthander opened the week with seven strikeouts over 3.1 innings. Richman finished the game against The Citadel and held serve in a one-run loss. He allowed one unearned run on a hit and two walks and picked up the victory in the series opener against #18 Georgia. Richman tossed four scoreless frames in game two of the series and held the Bulldogs to just one hit to earn the victory in the Eagles' 1-0 shutout of Georgia.
