WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Kimberly Thomas placed 8th in the 200m dash as the Georgia Southern Track and Field team completed the High Point Panthers Team Challenge.

Thomas posted a season best with a time of 26.39 in the 200m dash. 

Bailey Willett led the way for the Eagles in the 800m run with a time of 2:24.31, and Leigha Long finished with a new season best in the event (2:28.41).

Abigail Booth and Rebecca Parker both set new season bests in the 1 mile run. Booth placed 25th with a time of 5:37.02, and Parker finished with a time of 6:10.12.

The Eagles will return to indoor action Feb. 23-24 at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
