GUS Visited the Dining Commons at Lunch Today

STATESBORO, Ga. – While students were eating and socializing in the dining commons area, GUS encouraged students to attend Thursday's game against longtime rival Appalachian State. Besides encouraging students to attend the basketball game, he handed out flyers to students and took pictures with them. That contest starts a stretch in which the Eagles play seven of their next eight games in the friendly confines of Hanner Fieldhouse.
There will be a free giveaway and several promotions during both games. The free giveaway is a blue Georgia Southern rally towel courtesy of The Hamptons to the first 500 Georgia Southern students. The Border Pawtrol Frisbee Show will perform at halftime of both games. Fans are encouraged to wear blue to both games to support the Eagles as it is a TrueBlue OUT.
The men's team has won its last two and is in first place in the Sun Belt standings with a mark of 6-2 in conference play.
