  • Georgia Southern continues a three-game road trip with contests at Texas State and UL Monroe this week.
  • The Eagles travel to Texas State for the second of two meetings Thursday.
  • The Bobcats won the first meeting 79-65 in Hanner Fieldhouse back on on Jan. 3. It was also the first meeting between the two schools in women's basketball.
  • Georgia Southern takes on UL Monroe Saturday in the first of two meetings with the Warhawks.
  • It will be the first game in program history against UL Monroe. 
  • Following Saturday's contest, the Eagles open a five-game homestand against Appalachian State Jan. 29, in Hanner Fieldhouse.
  • The Eagles are coming off an 84-74 loss at Troy Saturday. 
  • Georgia Southern is 1-6 on the road this season and 1-5 in road Sun Belt games.

  • UL Monroe is 2-3 in its last five and coming off a 67-60 overtime win at UL Lafayette Monday.
  • The Warhawks will host UT Arlington Thursday before hosting Georgia Southern. UL Monroe is ninth in the league standings.
  • UL Monroe is 4-3 at home and 0-3 in home Sun Belt contests.
  • Sharnice Brooks ranks eighth in the Sun Belt in scoring (13.8 ppg) and 11th in rebounding (6.5 rpg).
