
Baseball's 2014 Recruiting Class Recognized

TUSCON, Ariz. - Georgia Southern Eagles' 2014 baseball recruiting class was named one of the best by Collegiate Baseball for the second-straight season.
Georgia Southern added 17 players to a squad that won the 2014 Southern Conference Tournament and defeated national seed Florida State in the Tallahassee Regional. The Eagles will be looking to replace three draft selections, all pitchers, in Sam Howard, Josh Wirsu and Eric Alonzo.
LSU was ranked as the top class in the poll. The Eagles, along with four other Sun Belt Conference teams, were named as other top recruiting classes.
GSU added eight junior college and nine high school players. All 17 student-athletes hail from the state of Georgia.
