Ryan Cleveland went eight for 16 with four doubles and a home run last week. Cleveland, who hit .500 during the four-game week, tallied three multi-hit games starting with a three for five performance at North Florida. Cleveland drove in a pair of runs with a double and a home run in the Eagles' 7-5 win over Davidson on Saturday. The freshman first baseman also drew two walks and scored a pair of runs in that contest. Cleveland wrapped up the week by going two for four with a double in the Davidson series finale.

Josh Wirsu tossed a career-best seven innings and struck out a team season-high 13 batters in Georgia Southern's 7-5 win over Davidson on Saturday. Wirsu became just the second Eagle this season to punch out 10 or more batters and allowed three runs – two earned – to earn his fifth win of the season. The junior righthander settled in after allowing three runs over the first three innings and retired 10-straight batters from the fourth inning on.
