STATESBORO, Ga.- Georgia Southern women's tennis overcame USU Upstate today at the Wallis Tennis Center, 4-0. The Eagles hold a 9-9 overall record.

The Eagles notched the doubles point. Jordana Klein and Mary Phillips Smith took down Sarah Vande Berg and Lindsey Buenger in the No. 3 singles spot, 8-1. At No. 2 doubles, Stephanie Woods and Giulia Riepe defeated Talia Rojas and Taylor Cohen, 8-5.

Stephanie Woods was victorious against Talia Rojas in the 4th singles position. Giulia Riepe, at No. 5 singles, beat Lindsey Buenger, 6-4, 6-2. Mary Phillips Smith clinched the match by defeating Sarah Vande Berg, 6-4, 6-2.

The Eagles face Furman on Saturday, April 5th, at the Wallis Tennis Center at 10:30 am.
