Garrett Chapman hit .462 with three home runs and four RBI in four games last week. Half of Chapman's six hits came in the form of the long ball. The freshman infielder opened the week with a two-run homer against North Florida. After going hitless in the series opener at Elon, he recorded three hits in game two and two in game three of the series. Chapman hit a home run in both games of Saturday's doubleheader and scored three runs in game one of the doubleheader.

Josh Wirsu held Elon to two runs on three hits in a 7-4 win in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader. Wirsu took a no-hitter into the fifth inning before Andy Moore broke it up with a two-out single. The junior righthander struck out four and walked three over 5.2 innings.
