¦ Georgia Southern meets Appalachian State on Senior Day and Pack the House in Pink.
¦ Georgia Southern will honor its five seniors - Brittney Benzio, Jordi Cook, Lacie Dowling, MiMi DuBose and Danielle Spencer prior to tipoff.
¦ It's the second of two games against the Mountaineers this season. Georgia Southern won 68-59 at Appalachian State Jan. 27.
¦ The Mountaineers are in fifth in the SoCon standings, while the Eagles are in seventh.
¦ The Eagles are 1-4 in their last five but coming off a 90-82 win at Davidson last Saturday.
¦ Georgia Southern is 3-7 at home and 2-5 in home league contests.
¦ Anna Claire Knight ranks third in the SoCon and leads GSU in scoring at 16.0 points a game. The junior has scored in double figures in 21 of the last 23 outings. She recorded the first triple-double in program history and the 11th in the country this season with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists at Samford Jan. 6.
¦ MiMi DuBose, who is averaging 11.3 points a contest, hit four 3-pointers at App Jan. 27 to become the school's career leader in triples. DuBose scored 16 points at Chattanooga Jan. 4 to top the 1,000-point mark for her career. She played in her 100th career contest vs. Davidson Jan. 18.
¦ Senior Danielle Spencer corralled four rebounds vs. Chattanooga Feb. 3 to reach 500 for her career. She is the 18th Eagle in program history to reach the milestone.
¦ Senior Lacie Dowling averages 7.4 points a game, and sophomore Briana Jones is averaging 8.0 points and 7.4 rebounds and has four double-doubles this season.
¦ Appalachian State is 6-3 in its last nine and coming off a 71-60 home win over Elon Monday.
¦ SoCon Player of the Year candidate Maryah Sydnor leads the team in scoring (19.6/gm), rebounding (8.9/gm) and steals (1.6/gm).
¦ KeKe Cooper averages 10.4 points and 8.2 rebounds, and Bria Huffman is averaging 9.4 points in conference contests.

Series History
¦ Georgia Southern leads the all-time series 34-17 but has lost four of the last five as the Mountaineers swept the season series in each of the last two seasons.
¦ The Eagles are 13-9 against the Mountaineers in Hanner Fieldhouse.
¦ Last meeting (1/27/14): MiMi DuBose led five Eagles in double figures in the scoring column with 15 points, and Georgia Southern outscored Appalachian State 24-0 from the 3-point line to post a 68-59 victory in the Holmes Center.
¦ Angel McGowan tallied 13 points, four rebounds and three assists, and Sierra Kirkland collected a career-high 12 points, seven rebounds and two assists for the Eagles. Danielle Spencer chipped in 11 points and six rebounds, and Anna Claire Knight scored 10.
¦ Bria Huffman scored 19 points to lead Appalachian State, and Maryah Sydnor posted 15 points and nine rebounds. KeKe Cooper collected nine points and eight rebounds.
¦ Georgia Southern shot 43.6 percent from the floor for the game and canned 8-of-19 3-pointers with seven coming in the first half as the Eagles built a 12-point lead at the break. The Mountaineers missed on all eight of their attempts from long distance in the contest.
¦ The Eagles withstood a couple Mountaineer runs in the second half but responded each time. Appalachian State worked the double-digit margin down to seven points late, and the teams traded buckets until the Mountaineers scored five straight to come within four points on a Mia Marshall putback with 2:35 to play.
¦ Kirkland used a pump fake to get to the rim for a layup on the Eagles' next possession and after a defensive stop, Knight grabbed the rebound and went coast to coast for a layup to make the score 65-57 with 1:32 left. The Eagles held the Mountaineers scoreless inside the last minute and went 3-for-4 from the free-throw line to seal the win.
¦ Last meeting in Hanner (2/4/13): Anna Freeman scored 18 points, and Appalachian State recorded 16 steals and forced 24 Georgia Southern turnovers to post a 67-54 win over the Eagles.
¦ Meredyth Frye tallied 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead Georgia Southern, and Danielle Spencer collected 11 points and seven rebounds. Alexis Sams scored a career high 16 points, and Knight finished with 10 points and five rebounds.
¦ Freeman was 8-of-15 from the floor and grabbed six rebounds for Appalachian State, while Courtney Freeman had 15 points and six rebounds, and Sydnor finished with 13 points and eight boards. Kelsey Sharkey collected seven points, 11 rebounds and seven steals off the bench.
¦ GSU's turnover total was three off its season high, and 14 came in the first half to help the Mountaineers build a 12-point halftime lead. ASU turned the ball over in the second frame, committing 19 miscues, but held the Eagles to 33 percent shooting from the floor in the period.

¦ Danielle Spencer has two double-doubles this season. The senior had 12 points and 12 rebounds against Jacksonville State (11/16) and 12 points and 17 rebounds at Jacksonville (11/24).
¦ Spencer played in her 100th career game at Chattanooga (1/4).
¦ Lacie Dowling tied the school record with eight 3-pointers against Detroit (11/30) and scored a career-high 26 points in the game. She shares the record with Allie Rousseau, who notched eight triples vs. Appalachian State Feb. 8, 2000. The performance helped Dowling earn all-tournament honors at the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament.
¦ Dowling has played in every game this season and started the last 23. She tallied a career-high seven assists at Western Carolina Jan. 25.
¦ Anna Claire Knight is 87 points away from 1,000 and 18 rebounds away from 400 for her career. The junior has two career double-doubles and has started the last 39 contests.
¦ Sophomore Briana Jones, who sat out last season after transferring from James Madison, has four double-doubles in her first campaign playing for the Eagles. She has started every game.
¦ Senior Jordi Cook played in her 100th career game at Western Carolina Jan. 25. She was one of three Eagles to play in all 31 games in 2012-13.
¦ Sierra Kirkland scored a career high 12 points at Appalachian State (1/27). The sophomore has played in every game in her career.
¦ MiMi DuBose had a streak of 87 straight games and 83 consecutive starts come to an end at UNCG Feb. 10.
¦ Five Eagles scored in double figures at Appalachian State Jan. 27. It's the first time since early in the 2008-09 season that GSU placed five players in double figures.
¦ The Eagles' 90 points at Davidson (2/15) are the most they have scored against a Division I opponent since a 97-95 overtime loss to Western Carolina in the 2005 SoCon Tourney championship game.
¦ The Eagles improved to 29-9 in home openers with their 63-50 win over Jacksonville State Nov. 16.
¦ For the first time in four seasons, Georgia Southern opened conference play at home.
¦ Since the 2010-11 season, Georgia Southern has five losses by one point and 14 losses by five points or less.
¦ Georgia Southern dropped to 23-18 in season openers after falling to Auburn 69-59 Nov. 9.
