Biography
Junior (2012-13): Named to SoCon All-Academic Team and SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Ranked 15th in the league in scoring (12.4 ppg) • Ranked 10th in free-throw percentage (.802) and fourth in 3-pointers made (1.8/game) • The only Eagle to start all 31 games and averaged 34 minutes a contest to lead the team • Also averaged 3.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals a contest • Led the Eagles in scoring in 16 games • Reached double figures in scoring in 19 games and scored 20 or more points seven times • Led the Eagles in assists nine times and in rebounding in five games • Posted 27 points and eight rebounds at College of Charleston (1/5) • Scored 22 points at George Mason • Scored 21 points in consecutive games against Kent State and Davidson (12/1) • Netted 21 points in consecutive contests at UNCG (1/26) and Elon (1/28) • Reached double figures in the scoring column in every game in the month of January.
Sophomore (2011-12): Named Academic All-SoCon • Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Ranked 11th in the SoCon in 3-point percentage (.344) and sixth in 3-point field goals made (1.5) • Played in all 30 games and started the last 29 • Averaged 26.9 minutes a game • Shot 37.8 percent from the floor • Scored in double figures in 15 games • Netted 19 points at UNCG (1/15) • Tallied 18 points and hit all four triple tries vs. Furman (12/5) • Scored 16 against Stetson (12/8) • Scored 14 vs. Georgia (11/15), Elon (1/13), Appalachian State (2/4) and Davidson (2/6) • Scored 12 vs. Western Carolina in the SoCon Tournament (3/2).
Freshman (2010-11): Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • All-SoCon Freshman Team member • Played in 21 games with 13 starts • Averaged 24.2 minutes per game and 9.9 points per game • Tallied 208 points and was second on the team with 40 three-pointers • Made her career debut at Georgia (11/14) • Scored a season-high 25 points against Appalachian State (1/10) • Tallied 20 points just four days later against Western Carolina (1/14) • Missed nearly a month late in the season with an injury but returned for the final regular season contest against Furman (2/26).
Prep: Four-year letterwinner at Jefferson High School • Lettered in softball (4), basketball (4), golf (1) and cheerleading (1) • Member of three Region 8-A Softball Region Championship teams, Region 8-A Golf Championship team in 2006 • Named Most Valuable Player in 2007 and 2008 as well as Honorable Mention Class A All-State • Player of the Year in 2007 and runner-up in 2008.
Personal: Born May 15, 1991, in Athens, Ga. • Miriam Mason DuBose is the daughter of Bolling and Kris DuBose • Graduated last May • Her father, Bo, played basketball at Wake Forest (1967-69) and sister, Lee, was a four-year basketball letterwinner at Georgia Southern (2002-06).
