The senior scored 16 points against the Lady Mocs Saturday to top the 1,000-point mark for her career. She is four games played away from 100 for her career.
¦ Senior Lacie Dowling averages 8.9 points a game, and sophomore Briana Jones is averaging 7.9 points and 8.7 rebounds.
¦ Samford has lost its last four games and is coming off an 83-68 home decision against Davidson Saturday.
¦ The Bulldogs are 0-4 at home this season and 0-1 in home SoCon contests.

Series History
¦ Samford leads the all-time series, which began in the 2008-09 season when the Bulldogs joined the Southern Conference, 8-2.
¦ The Bulldogs have won four of the last five in the series and are 5-0 against the Eagles in the Pete Hanna Center.
¦ Last meeting (2/16/13): Meredyth Frye hit two free throws with 3.9 seconds left, and Hannah Dawson's long 3-point try as the buzzer sounded came up short as Georgia Southern defeated Samford 52-51 in Hanner Fieldhouse.
¦ Frye scored the last seven points of the game for the Eagles, who overcame a 42-35 deficit with 7:04 left in the game. With GSU trailing 47-45, Frye hit a triple from the top of the key and after Taylor Reece scored on a layup for Samford, Frye blew past two Bulldogs with a nifty shot fake and got to the hoop for a layup that gave the Eagles a 50-49 lead with 39.5 seconds left.
¦ Jazmine Martin drove baseline on Samford's trip down the floor, was fouled and made her free throws with 26.9 seconds left. After a Georgia Southern timeout with 11 seconds remaining, Frye got the ball at the top of the key, drove right, got fouled and had her runner kiss off the glass and roll off the front of the rim. The senior calmly knocked down two free throws for the 52-51 win.
¦ Frye finished with 17 points and three steals. Anna Claire Knight scored 10 and dished out a career-high seven assists, and MiMi DuBose netted nine points.

¦ Reece was 9-of-17 from the floor and hit two triples for Samford, while Krista Strickland collected 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Christy Robinson scored 10, and Hannah Dawson finished with a game-high 13 boards.
¦ After the Eagles fought back from an early deficit and trailed 27-23 at halftime, Reece scored seven points in a 12-4 Bulldog run to open the second half and extend the lead to 12 points.
¦ Frye cut the margin to 10 points with a pair of free throws, but Robinson scored the first eight points in an 11-2 Samford run as the Bulldogs opened a 50-31 cushion to take control of the game.
¦ The Eagles fought back with DuBose scoring five points in an 8-2 run, capped by a Frye 3-pointer that made the score 52-39 with 3:01 remaining. Reece answered with a layup for the Bulldogs, and Samford was able to work the clock on their offensive possessions to seal the win.
