Swimming and Diving Travels to UNC Asheville for 2014 Opener

ASHEVILLE, NC- Georgia Southern swimming and diving opens 2014 play on the road with a meet at UNC Asheville on Saturday, January 11th. The Eagles have been training over the holidays and are prepared to take on the competition again. This marks the first of five meets in January, followed by CCSA Duals in Davidson, NC and the CCSA Championships in Knoxville, TN.
"We are excited to race again for the first time in almost two months," said head coach Nathan Kellogg. "Training for so long without a meet can be tough, but our attitudes, focus, and effort have been tremendous. We are keeping our eyes on the prize and expect the work we are putting in to be reflected in our performances over the next few weeks. This meet will serve as the first step."
