STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern baseball team is hosting three prospect camps and a high school exposure night leading up to the spring season.
The prospect camps are one-day camps that feature instruction and a showcase/pro-style workout. The instructors will teach the skills necessary to reach the collegiate playing level. This camp is designed for the player who is serious about taking his game to the next level. The dates for the three prospect camps are Sept. 14, Oct. 13 and Jan. 18.
The Eagles will also host an exposure night on Oct. 4, which will be an event featuring instruction and a pro style workout conducted by the Georgia Southern coaching staff. The exposure night is for any high school player that has aspirations of playing at the collegiate and/or pro level.
Skills that will be evaluated include: hitting, fielding, baserunning, and throwing. This format is designed for Position Players. There will be no Pitching instruction and/or Bullpens at this session.
All campers will need to bring all necessary baseball equipment such as: bat, glove, cleats, tennis shoes, catchers gear (if needed), etc.
All Georgia Southern Camps are open to any and all applicants and are limited only by the number of slots available per camp and the age, grade level and/or the gender of the participant.
