STORY LINES
Georgia Southern (20-11, 10-5 SoCon) wraps up an eight-game road trip at Charleston Southern (11-20, 3-6 Big South) Tuesday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. All three games can be heard on the Georgia Southern Radio Network and coverage begins 30 minutes before first pitch.
The Eagles will send Josh Stevenson (0-2, 6.42 ERA) to the mound in the mid-week contest. The start will be his first appearance since a March 30th start at UNCG. Stevenson allowed six runs - four earned - on nine hits and struck out six batters over 5.1 innings against the Spartans.
Georgia Southern currently ranks 42nd in RPI and is 6-4 against top-50 RPI teams this season.
The Eagles now sit nine games above .500 and have only fallen below .500 twice this season.
Robbie Dodds recorded six hits in 13 at-bats (.462) over the weekend at Appalachian State. Dodds tied a season-high with four hits and two runs scored in the series finale against the Mountaineers.
T.D. Davis leads the team with a .385 batting average, seven doubles and four home runs in 16 games against non-conference foes.
Kyle Rowe appeared in his first game since March 17th at Samford and earned the win on Sunday after throwing three scoreless frames.
Zac Lenns is five-for-seven (.714) with three RBIs in his last five games.
The trio of T.D. Davis, Chase Griffin and Ben Morgan have combined for 16 of the team’s 21 home runs.

WEEKEND RECAP
The Georgia Southern Eagles dropped the series at Appalachian State but rallied in the ninth inning on Sunday to salavage a win in the series.
Zac Lenns hit a two-RBI single to tie the game at 7-7, and Scooter Williams doubled down the first base line to plate the winning run in the ninth inning.
Kyle Rowe earned the win after throwing three scoreless innings. Rowe worked around a one-out single in the ninth inning to record the final two outs of the game.
Robbie Dodds tallied six hits, two runs and a RBI in the series.
Jason Richman tossed a gem on Saturday but was the hard-luck loser in a 2-0 pitchers’ duel. Richman allowed two runs on five hits and struck out six over 6.2 innings.

Eric Phillips tallied three hits and four RBIs as the Eagles exploded for seven runs over the fifth and sixth innings in the March 6 win. Sam Howard earned the win after 3.2 scoreless innings of relief.

Game two in Statesboro was a one-run contest with the Eagles pulling out the win on a two-out walk-off single by Scooter Williams. Jarret Leverett earned the win after tossing two scoreless frames and recording two strikeouts.
