¦ Georgia Southern caps the regular season with a pair of games in Hanner Fieldhouse.
¦ The Eagles host UNCG Saturday at 7 p.m. on Senior Night and take on Elon Monday at 7 p.m. on Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night.
¦ It's the second meeting of the season between UNCG and Georgia Southern this season. The Eagles prevailed 63-56 over the Spartans back on Jan. 26, in Fleming Gym.
¦ Georgia Southern will honor seniors Meredyth Frye, Briana Scott and Ronnesha Smith prior to tipoff.
¦ GSU will also present a commemorative ball to Frye for becoming the 19th player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
¦ The Eagles are 2-2 in their last four and coming off a 57-48 setback at Furman last Saturday. GSU is currently tied for eighth with Western Carolina in the league standings.
¦ Georgia Southern is 3-7 at home this season and 3-5 in home league games.
¦ MiMi DuBose is leading the team in scoring at 13.1 points a game. The junior is fifth on the GSU career list in 3-pointers (133), three behind her sister Lee (2002-06). MiMi has scored 20 or more points in seven games this season.
¦ DuBose has led the Eagles in scoring in 16 contests this season and is now 171 points shy of 1,000 for her career.
¦ Meredyth Frye has led the Eagles in scoring and rebounding in each of the last two seasons. The senior scored 17 points at Wofford last Saturday to go over 1,000 for her career. She has scored in double figures in her last eight games.
¦ Anna Claire Knight is averaging 10.6 points and a team-high six rebounds a game. The sophomore has led the team in scoring five times and is 61 points away from 500 for her career.
¦ UNCG enters the game in 10th place in the league standings. The Spartans are 2-4 in their last six with wins over Samford and Furman.
¦ UNCG is coming off a 77-46 loss at Appalachian State Wednesday.
¦ The Spartans are 2-9 away from home and 2-7 in road SoCon games.
¦ SoCon Freshman of the Year candidate Lucy Mason leads the Spartans in scoring with 12.6 points a game, and Janaé Stevenson averages 10.4 points and 7.3 rebounds. Breonna Patterson averages 10.4 points.

¦ UNCG leads the all-time series, which began in 1997, 20-17.
¦ GSU is 5-4 against UNCG in the last nine meetings.
¦ Four of the last seven meetings have been decided by four points or less.
¦ Last meeting: MiMi DuBose scored 21 points, and Danielle Spencer added a career-high 14 points and six rebounds to lead Georgia Southern victory in Fleming Gymnasium back on Jan. 26.
¦ It was the first true road win of the season for the Eagles, who took the lead on a Sierra Kirkland layup with 12:20 remaining and held it for the rest of the game.
¦ UNCG cut the margin to two points on a Lucy Mason layup in transition, but Spencer answered with a conventional 3-point play with 27 seconds left to give the Eagles a commanding five-point cushion. Spencer got great position in the post, took a dribble left and spun back right, scoring with her right hand as she was fouled.
¦ After the junior forward hit the free throw, the Eagles forced a turnover on the Spartans' next possession, and Anna Claire Knight drilled two free throws to seal the win.
¦ Spencer's scoring output was part of a 27-point performance from the Eagle bench. Kirkland finished with six points and seven rebounds, Jordi Cook scored five and Kiki Rawls netted two. Starter Meredyth Frye finished with nine points, four rebounds and two steals.
¦ Janaé Stevenson led the Spartans with 11 points and nine rebounds, and Breonna Patterson scored 12. Jessica Collins finished with eight points.
¦ The Eagles shot 40 percent from the floor in the game and scored 25 points off of 19 Spartan turnovers.
¦ Last meeting in Hanner: Georgia Southern topped UNCG 59-47 in the last meeting in Hanner Fieldhouse Feb. 20, 2012.
¦ Meredyth Frye posted 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the Eagles, while Janay Wilson scored 13, and Samantha Williams added 12.
¦ Breonna Patterson scored 11 for the Spartans, and Sarah Folwell tallied 10 points and seven rebounds.
