STATESBORO, Ga. -- The Georgia Southern Swimming and Diving team was named a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for earning a team grade point average above a 3.0 in the fall 2012 semester.

The Georgia Southern swimmers and divers posted a 3.23 grade point average and finished above 45 other schools. The program has now earned the honor for ten semesters straight and with the current Scholar All-America program in place since 2008, the Eagles have been included every semester.
