Baseball and Basketball On Tap for This Week

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern men's basketball team will host Wofford and Furman, and baseball will host Big Ten favorite Indiana this week.
The Eagles will white out Wofford Thursday at 7 p.m. in Hanner Fieldhouse, and the first 50 students wearing white will get a free t-shirt. Saturday night's basketball game against Furman is a blue out. The 7 p.m. contest will also be senior day and family weekend.
This weekend's baseball series at J.I. Clements Stadium will feature farmers' day on Friday, a chili cookout and a Student Eagle Club tailgate on Saturday and “Hoosier” daddy on Sunday.
Fans are encouraged to wear farmers' clothing to the ball park Friday night to compete in all the in-game promotions and a corn eating contest.
Saturday's chili cook off is free entry, and the winner will receive a four tickets to that night's men's basketball game. Chili will also be served at the Student Eagle Club tailgate after the baseball game in the lower Hanner lot.
All in-game promotions on Sunday will be father and child teams. All Junior Eagle Club members get in free for Sunday Funday, and Nick's Inflatables will have bounce houses at the game.
