¦ MiMi DuBose and Anna Claire Knight averaged double figures in the scoring column a season ago. DuBose averaged 12.4 points a game, while Knight averaged 11.7 points and 5.9 rebounds a game.
¦ DuBose (142) is third in all-time 3-pointers at Georgia Southern, 25 away from first, held by Svetlana Trjeskal (1995-99). The senior is 124 points away from 1,000 for her career.
¦ Kentucky opened its campaign with a pair of victories in New York over the weekend. The Wildcats topped Marist 75-61 Friday and defeated Wagner 96-57 Sunday.
¦ Kentucky returns 10 letterwinners and four starters from last season's 30-6 team that advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight before falling to eventual national champion UConn.
¦ The Wildcats return nine of their top-11 scorers from last season. DeNesha Stallworth averaged 12.5 points and six rebounds a game, and Jennifer O'Neill averaged 10.9 points. Samarie Walker averaged 8.7 points and 8.1 rebounds a contest.
¦ Kentucky was picked second in the Preseason SEC Coaches Poll. Stallworth was a preseason all-league selection, while Walker and O'Neill were second-team picks.

¦ Kentucky advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, while Auburn won its way to the round of eight in the WNIT.
¦ Southern Conference opponents Chattanooga (NCAA Tournament), Davidson (WNIT) and Appalachian State (WNIT) also advanced to the postseason.
¦ Georgia Southern will play Kentucky, Cal State Northridge, Eastern Illinois and North Florida for the first time.
¦ The Eagles will also face either Detroit or Rhode Island for the first time in the second day of the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament.
