Hennon to Speak at Greater Savannah Eagle Club Thursday

STATESBORO, Ga. - With the start of the 2012 Baseball season on the horizon, Head Coach Rodney Hennon starts making the preseason rounds Thursday at the Greater Savannah Eagle Club. Come hear from coach on the upcoming season, his 2012 squad and college baseball at the Johnny Harris Banquet Facility on Victory Drive at noon.
Lunch catered by Johnny Harris costs just $10 and includes tip and a drink. The food lines open at 11:45 a.m., and the club meeting is done promptly at 1 p.m.
Hennon enters his 13th season at the helm of the Georgia Southern Baseball program and has led the Eagles to two Southern Conference Tournament titles in the last three years. The 15-year head coaching veteran was named the College Baseball Foundation National All-Star Coach of the Week for earning his 500th career victory on March 27, 2011 against the College of Charleston.
