Victor Roache Selected to Cape Cod League All-Star Team

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern's Victor Roache was selected to the Cape Cod League All-Star game and will serve as the West Division's designated hitter. The Ypsilanti, Mich., native will serve as one of three representatives from the Kettleers in the All-Star game.
The sophomore is in the hunt for the triple crown, leading the Cape Cod in batting average, home runs and RBI. Roache currently sits at .361 with six home runs and 28 RBIs after 33 games with the Cotuit Kettleers.
The 2011 Cape Cod League All-Star Game will be played at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. On July 29th. Comcast SportsNet New England will televise the contest which is set for 7 p.m. Tickets for the game are $10 and can be purchased at www.redsox.com/capecod.
