Victor Roache Tabbed as April's Best in the SoCon

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Georgia Southern Baseball's Victor Roache was tabbed as the best player in April in the Southern Conference. The sophomore outfielder hit 15 home runs to earn the league's Player of the Month honors.
Roache led the Eagles to a 10-7 record and a 7-4 mark in the SoCon. He launched 15 of his 23 home runs during the month to take over the NCAA Division I lead in that category. Roache drove in 32 runs in April and hit .368 at the plate.
The Ypsilanti, Mich. product recorded a base hit in all but three games that month and tallied three multi-homer games, including a three home run game against The Citadel on April 2nd. Roache also hit long balls in five-straight contests between April 12th and 17th.
